Namaste, my name is Jay and I love yoga. I love all kinds of yoga, I love how it makes me feel, how it helps me breath, how it makes me feel stronger, how it helps me focus. I love the community I feel in a class with other people and how we can share energy without even saying a word. Yoga fills me with happiness and helps me feel confidence.

As a teacher and lifelong student of yoga I love pushing the boundaries of traditional yoga and pushing the boundaries of my mind and my own perceived limitations. For me yoga is about compassion not competition. Our classes together will be active, sweat inducing, fun experiences with the intention of helping you get out of negative thought patterns while making you stronger mentally and physically.

I am Yoga Alliance certified 200 hour yoga teacher, currently working on my 300 hour teacher certification. The styles of yoga I practice and teach include Hatha, Vinyasa, Yin, Yoga Nidra, Yoga sculpt, HIIT Yoga. I have experience with powerlifting, weight lifting, and Jui Jitsu in response to sports related injuries, I use yoga as a way to heal and strengthen my body. Equally important, I find my practice brings me contentment, curiosity and courage, all of which help him manage anxiety and depression.

Yoga Power Flow

To me, a power yoga class is a fun way to push your body and mind by working on strength through incorporating a wide variety of basic and complex yoga posture’s often times in repetition or isometric holds. This class is challenging, however with personal modifications, an open mind and trust in yourself anything is possible. You are stronger then you think, come explore your untapped strength mental and physical with me.
